"I have been a member of the Mid Iowa Planned Giving Council since it's early days of existence. I joined because my passion for integrating philanthropic planning into the traditional estate and financial planning process with our clients left me "wanting for more" than I receive at financial industry training events. My membership in MIPGC has allowed me to see and hear first hand the challenges gift planners face on a daily basis, and I have learned much from being associated with them through MIPGC. Besides, the people who attend are great people with a heart for philanthropy!"

"I have been a member of the Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council for many years and have always been impressed with the high level of educational programming provided monthly. I enjoy networking with and learning from my fellow MIPGC members, including fundraisers, attorneys, trust officers and financial planners. The annual membership fee of $100 is a small investment to make for the benefits derived."

"I have been involved with the Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council (MIPGC) since November of 2007. I have found participation in MIPGC to be very beneficial to my career as it has provided me with an opportunity to understand the gift planning and fundraising considerations that local non-profit organizations are dealing with on a daily basis. The variety of speakers that MIPGC presents at its monthly and annual meetings have also been very useful in the development of my practice."
